Well we are now only 20 days away for election day. Thank you Brian Mix, Jillian Merrick, Monica Peacock, and Trent Derrick for your participation in the PGELXN blog. More candidates have contacted me and are going to participate in the PGELXN blog, so keep checking back. My goal is to have 100% participation this election so that the citizens of Prince George can get their information and get out and vote. Spread the word and let people know that there is a resource out there to help gathering your information to vote easier.
There has been some questions on Twitter about why I do not include the school trustees in the blog. Last election I decided to create this blog a bit late in the election and did not have enough time to gather what I needed to make it fair for the people running. This year with 26 people running for council and two running for mayor I have found it a bit overwhelming to include the 18 school trustee candidates as well. That would bring the total number of candidates on the blog for this year to 46. I hope that there is someone in Prince George willing to take on the school trustees and help them have their voices heard.
